FOOD AND NUTRITION 

 

Turkey Burgers by Donna Lindsay

500gm Turkey Mince
1/2 Brown Onion, chopped finely
1 Egg White
2-3 Dessertspoons Quinoa Flakes
1-2 teaspoons Dried Italian Herbs
1 teaspoon Organic Crushed Garlic
Quinoa Flakes (to coat)
2-3 tablespoons Coconut Oil

 

 

 

– Combine all ingredients (except for quinoa flakes and coconut oil for coating) in a large mixing bowl.

– Using your hands, mix well and then form into 12 small patties.

– Coat each patty in quinoa flakes. Heat frypan and add coconut oil. Fry each side for approx 1-2mins and place on baking tray and into oven (180°) and cook for approx 15-20mins.
