Main Event Fitness – Timetable Changes
As most of you know by now, as of Monday the 25th we are going to a new timetable and adding an extra class each night. To make sure you guys are across everything please read the below email:
ADVANCED MUAY THAI:
Over the next few weeks we will be adding advanced Muay Thai classes for those of you who would like to explore the more advanced parts of Muay Thai such as clinching, sparring, etc
To participate in these everyone will need to speak to myself or Amin first regardless of you’re level or previous experience. These classes are not just for people looking to fight but also for people with a good base level of fitness, who have a good understanding of the basics.
These classes will be run very strictly, you will be expected to be wrapped up and warmed up by the start of class (warm up will not be apart of class), if you are 1 minute late or not warmed up, you will be asked to sit out or wait until the next class. These classes will also be commitment based, you will be expected to be training a minimum of 4 times a week to be eligible for these classes.
You will also need to have your own:
– 16oz Gloves
– Mouth Guard
– Box
– Shin Pads
FIGHTERS:
For those of you wanting to fight, sparring will be compulsory, as will running before class.
